My name is Simone, and I am a 53-year-old woman who has walked through many battles, but by the grace of God, I am still standing. God blessed me with two loving parents who cared for me deeply and did everything within their power to protect me and keep me safe. They were my covering, my comfort, and my place of refuge. Despite their love, I still endured sexual abuse from my own brothers—deep wounds no one should ever have to carry. Now that both of my
parents have passed away, I no longer have anyone in my family to turn to.
Through all of this, God kept my heart close to Him. I grew up in Christian schools and Christian communities, and in 2000 I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a BA in Studio Art. My faith and my time at ORU helped shape my calling to serve others, minister, and lead people to Jesus.
This past year, I lost my income and was evicted. Without my parents and without support from my family, I found myself homeless. I urgently need a stable place to live by mid-December. I am seeking jobs, applying for programs, and praying earnestly for direction, but I cannot overcome this season alone.
Even through abuse, loss, homelessness, and spiritual attacks meant to destroy me, God has sustained me. Ministry is who I am at my core. Even in my hardest moments, God still uses me to pray for others, encourage the brokenhearted, and share His love wherever I go. Serving the Lord is the call on my life.
I am humbly asking for support with the down payment and closing costs for an affordable home. A stable place to live would allow me to rebuild my life, secure steady work, continue in ministry, and use my artistic gifts—shaped through my education at ORU—to glorify God and help others. More than a roof over my head, a home would finally break the lifelong cycle of instability, break the generational curses that have followed my family, protect me from the
ongoing spiritual attacks where my brother is still trying to negatively affect my life through evil prayers and harmful attempts against me, and give me the safe foundation I have never truly had.
I believe God is still a miracle-working God, and I believe He moves through His people. If the Lord leads you to help, please know your support would not only lift me out of homelessness—it would restore my ability to live out my calling and continue pouring into the lives of others.
Thank you for listening to my story, and thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to those of us who are fighting to stand again.
My name is Jacqueline Quinnett, and I want to thank the Family and Friends of Tulsa for your kindness and support.
God has had His hand on Simone from the very moment I met her. If you don’t know her story, here’s the short version:
I was leaving Jenks Coffee Co. when I noticed a woman working quietly on her artwork. As I walked out, God pressed on my heart, “Give her what you have.” I rarely carry cash, but I had $8. When I handed it to her, she thanked me and asked "do you know anyone hiring or anyone who might want to purchase my artwork?" That simple moment opened the door for everything that followed.
Since then, God has continued aligning the right people at the right time. The owners of Jenks Coffee Co. stepped in. During Thanksgiving she was able to regroup, search for work, and begin rebuilding—despite the challenges of holiday hiring and unstable housing.
I shared her situation with my networking group, and two individuals helped financially, allowing her to stay at a hotel another week. The hotel has kindly reduced her rate to $90/night. But Friday is her last night with a roof over her head, and time is running out!
A dear friend helped amplify her story through the news, and we’ve witnessed God’s provision again and again. We simply want to continue supporting her as she takes the next steps toward stability.

Art has been a passion and also an avenue in which God has worked His miracles. Portraits are my passion and bringing out people's personality, inspiring others to Christ through art, and murals.
Thank you for your support, I can't thank God enough for bringing the right people into my life, and I appreciate any help as I continue to look for work, find a place to live, and pursue my passion in art.
